Frozen foods

Manufacturers depend on us for a variety of ingredients essential to functional performance. ADM developed the Imperial™ FD enzyme system specifically to help dough survive the freezing process; ADM leavenings help make "rising crust" pizzas rise; and to prevent the water loss that causes syneresis or "freezer burn," we supply NovaXan™ xanthan gum, sodium stearoyl lactylate, monoglycerides and more. We also understand the role of specific sugars in modifying a food's freezing point—a key issue in formulating low-fat ice cream treats. ADM can even help you develop ingredient systems to improve microwave reheat performance.

Sauces and Marinades
ADM is a leading producer of corn sweeteners, the acidulants citric and lactic acid, NovaXan™

xanthan gum to add body and maintain oil/water stability as well as our NovaLipid™ line of production-friendly oils, shortenings and margarines. NovaLipid products contain little or no trans-fatty-acid content to help you meet trans-fat labeling requirements without sacrificing taste or functionality.
Soups and Canned Goods
ADM is the world's #1 originator of the beans used in canned soups, chilies and baked beans canned for retail—including navy, pinto, black, kidney, refried and lima beans. Our in-house retorting facility allows us to can a bean soup or similar product, cook it, then remove and examine it. This information helps us optimize our beans for each customer to prevent unsightly breakage in the can. ADM also supplies the canned soup industry with soy concentrates and isolates, TVP® products, TVC™ protein chunks and crumbles, NovaXan™ xanthan gum, citric acid, citrates, lecithin, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate (SSL) and easy-to-handle dry molasses or honey. ADM is also a major international supplier of rice: long or short grain, white or brown, rough rice, milled rice and numerous ethnic rices.
Nutritional and Functional Ingredients
ADM offers a remarkable and growing range of nutritional ingredients to help you appeal to health-conscious consumers at all life stages. Nutritional products include NutriSoy® soy protein, Novasoy® brand soy isoflavones, and CardioAid™ plant sterols. Particularly noteworthy is Fibersol-2™ digestion resistant maltodextrin, which adds soluble dietary fiber with no adverse effect on beverage color, clarity or flavor.
