Fuel Components
ADM leads the market in supplying corn-based ethanol, the renewable fuel ethanol from corn that allows gasoline

producers to meet today’s environmental regulations. We’re also a leader in renewable ultra-low-sulfur biodiesel fuel, and producer of diesel additives that improve engine lubrication properties and slow fuel oxidation over time.
Oil Bases
ADM linseed, soybean, and sunflower oils are a vital component of paints and coatings, while our linseed and soybean oils go into printers’ inks.
Release Agents
ADM’s Panalite™ 90-30 K distilled monoglyceride is an effective plasticizer and release agent for dozens of plastics applications.
Solvents
ADM supplies industrial-grade products such as ethyl lactate and industrial ethanol for use as solvents in household cleaners, personal products, and fragrances. Soy methyl esters and ethyl lactate have additional applications in dissolving plastics.
Starches
Top-quality ADM starches cover a full range of applications in pulp and paper production; packaging, wallboard and corrugated materials manufacturing; mining and drilling; and coatings removal. One prominent example: EnviroStrip® wheat starch media (www.envirostrip.com), which has won widespread acceptance in commercial, private, and military aviation circles as an alternative to toxic paint-stripping solvents.
